چکیده
In the fall of 2018, The US National Science Foundation (NSF) implemented a new policy on sexual harassment. A few months later, Institutes Health (NIH), took further step in fight against harassment by announcing that researchers accused harassment, but not yet found guilty, could nonetheless be excluded from lists potential reviewers submitted projects. We also observe recent tendency to call for retraction published peer-reviewed results basis their conclusions are considered go moral convictions some social groups, though lack validity has been proven. It is certainly legitimate question ask whether these kinds policies and critiques, which directly link practice science behavior scientists larger society, do initiate profound transformation relations between society adding usually implicit norms governing scientific community form moralization themselves. analyze events terms process rules conduct may lead doing better or more robust science.

We examine the emergence of InterContinental Transport (ICT) of air pollution on the agendas of the air quality and climate communities and consider the potential for a new treaty on hemispheric air pollution. ICT is the flow of air pollutants from a source continent (e.g., North America) to a receptor continent (e.g., Europe). ICT of air pollutants occurs through two mechanisms: (i) episodic a...

This paper reports the results of a study examining users’ perceptions of flow and outcomes in online shopping. Three characteristics of flow activities and six dimensions of flow are predicted to affect outcomes as measured by perceived usefulness, pleasure, and behavior intentions. Results show that flow affects all outcome measures. Implications for future research and practice are discussed.
